We had a full day touring the Serengeti. We headed out after breakfast and headed into the grassy planes. It had rained early in the morning bringing with it cooler temps. It almost felt cold which was nice and as the day went on, the sun came out and the day warmed up. We saw a few lions sleeping in the trees and then we headed way out away from the other jeeps. The ride was just as fun as seeing the wildlife. The bumpy dirt roads, almost getting stuck in the mud. There were a few times I thought we were not going to make it out of the mud.
Just before lunch we spotted a male lion with several females. Not too far from it, was the remains of a wildebeest. Clearly they had just eating and were now resting.
