Munich

Although I enjoyed the river cruise, I wanted to experience what it was like to travel without someone picking you up and dropping you off.  I wanted to figure out public transporation and more importantly, not to be on a schedule.  I wanted to explore instead of having someone showing it to me.

I took the train from Nuremberg to Munich and checked into my hotel.   After arriving I decided to do a little exploring. A little exploring turning into hours of walking. Every time I turned a corner there was something fun tucked away. Munich rocks, I had no idea at what a great city this is.  I love Munich!

There is no shortage of Beer and Beer Gardens or BierGartens.  I stopped by one BierGarten which is the oldest in in Munich – founded in 1050.

My friend was hungry and stopped at a McCafe – I wasn’t going to eat there – they charge .90 Euro per packet of ketchup.  I will stick to genuine local foods.
