Singapore – July 28th

July 28th, 2010

My first day in the Singapore Office – the views from the office were stunning.  My visitor office as well as the main lobby entrance looks over the Skypark buildings and convention centers.  Further out you can see the ships coming in and out of the port.

I still felt exhausted from the time change but got in a good days worth of work.  For lunch it was back to the Hawker Center where I got Indian food (Rice, Tandoori Chicken, Naan)

Foo-Leong – a fellow associate went and picked up a few Singapore favorites for us to try.  From left to right, Chai tow Kwai or fried carrot cake (with egg and radish), Char Kway Tau noodles and Popiah (Rolls stuffed with veggies, peanuts and meet).  Delicious!!!!

Foo-Leong mentioned that at night, the closed the street off and the Satay stands would open up.  Sounded like the perfect dinner plan, meet or prawns cooked over coals served with a side of peanut sauce?  Definitely a winner in my book.  It looked so good, I forgot to take a picture of it before I ate.
